Today I had broken eyes, so Cobey dropped me off at the mall to get my eyes checked. He was busy filling out some paperwork at Judson so he was a bit late picking me up. This was a blessing in disguise. I wandered into the children’s book section of Barne’s and Noble. It was bliss. I got to visit some old friends. Books by Dr. Suess, Shel Silverstein and one of my favorite alphabet books called “Chika Chika Boom Boom”. I forgot just how much the book The Giving Tree warms my heart. I suggest everyone take a trip down memory lane, and re-read the books they loved as children. It is good for your soul.
