Recently, I was reading a book by the very wonderful Gene Weingarten, titled “The Fiddler in the Subway”. It is a collaboration of some of Gene’s most interesting, heart warming, bone chilling, and mind boggling works.

The story that really spoke to me was one of his father, who was suffering vision loss. In the story he explains some common circumstances that result in an extraordinary reality for his father.

After reading this particular story, I was left with just a glimpse at what a life with Charles Bonnet Syndrome looks like.

Soon after, I stumbled upon this talk by Oliver Sacks on TED.
